What You Need For Danish Waffle Recipe

2 eggs
1 ripe banana, mashed
1 TBSP coconut oil, melted
14 TSP cinnamon
1 TSP baking powder
*Optional: 1 pack of AURA Whole Fruit Raspberries

These are Some Topping Ideas

Nut butter — healthy fats, protein, fibre
Fresh berries   fibre, antioxidants
Coconut chips — healthy fats, fibre
Hemp hearts — protein, omega-3’s, key minerals
Pure maple syrup — natural sweetener
Berry syrup   natural sweetener

How To

  1. Preheat waffle iron and grease lightly with coconut oil or preferred oil of choice.
  2. Mash the banana in a medium-sized mixing bowl and beat in the eggs and melted coconut oil.
  3. Add in the rest of the ingredients and mix everything together until well combined. If your batter is too thick, add tbsp amounts of almond milk at a time until you reach your desired consistency — not too thick, not too runny.
  4. Pour 14 cup amounts of waffle batter onto iron and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, keeping an eye. Depending on the size of your waffle iron, you may need to add more than 14 cup of batter.

*Optional: Crush and sprinkle AURA Whole Fruit Raspberries on top
